Many of us tend to follow an elaborate, multi-step facial skincare routine. The opposite, however, can be said for our bodies, which we often neglect, resulting in dryness and irritation. The skin on our bodies deserves just as much attention, however I completely understand that finding the time (or motivation) to pamper our whole bodies can be very challenging.

I thought I would round up the top 5 products I use from shoulder to toe that leave my skin feeling soft, glowing and healthy. And they don’t require a lot of time or money either!

Garnier Body Ultimate Blends Restoring Lotion

Firstly, this lotion smells divine. It is tailor-made for very dry skin, with ‘3 incredible treasures from the beehive’; Royal Jelly, Propolis & Honey. The incredible formula leaves skin feeling gorgeously nourished and smooth.

Perfect for the winter, the gentle cream sensitively heals the skin by inputting essential oils to areas of damage and irritation.

It doesn’t leave any greasiness or stickiness and is just an all-round winner.

ESPA Restorative Body Oil

A spa in a bottle. ESPA’s Restorative Body Oil contains a comforting and soothing aromatic blend of rose geranium, sweet orange and lavender. It makes you feel like you have been transported to a luxurious spa as the oil glides on skin perfectly.

What’s most important is that it sinks into skin perfectly and doesn’t leave a horrible oily residue. I often use after exfoliating around once-twice a week.

Bamboo Body Brush

Dry brushing is a relatively new thing in my beauty routine, and I love it! Dry body brushing helps shed dead skin cells (and encourages new cell renewal), which results in smoother and brighter skin. It can also help with any pesky ingrown hairs – thank goodness!

It is also known for assisting in improving vascular blood circulation and lymphatic drainage. By releasing toxins, it encourages the body’s discharge of metabolic wastes so the body is able to run more effectively.

Health and beauty benefits… what more could you want?

Margaret Dabbs London Intensive Hydrating Foot Lotion

If you have ever had a pedicure from Margaret Dabbs or used any of the products before you will understand the hype. I can’t wait to get back there when possible!

This foot lotion is so luxurious and wonderful. It contains emu oil – an antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and healing ingredient which is perfect for tired feet in need of some TLC.

It’s super hydrating and just a gorgeous product to indulge in.

No1 Illume Silk Exfoliating Glove

This is a game-changer when it comes to exfoliating.

The glove is made of 100% silk and effortlessly exfoliates, purifies and energises the skin – no need for harsh scrubs anymore!

Silk gloves have traditionally been used in the world famous Turkish baths (Hammams) and are known to brighten dull skin, prevent ingrown hairs and improve the appearance of scars, stretch marks and cellulite too!

I use it after a warm shower or bath and move the glove in sweeping motions across my skin applying pressure. Skin starts to gently peel (goodbye dead skin cells) leaving skin looking glowing!
