I hope you are all having a lovely run up to Christmas.
I thought I would write a little blog on my favourite winter fashion trends right now. I have a few looks that I am loving right now and as you can probably tell from my lasted Instagram posts they involve a lot of faux fur.
This jacket (similar here) is my all time favourite- the compliments I have recieved on it have been endless! It is actually my mums from nearly 20 years ago. She got it relined on the inside and it looks as good as new! I paired it with my new favourite trousers- these ‘leather look’ leggings from Next. I have hunted high and low for leggings like these that didn’t look too cheap so I was really happy to find them! Also I love this hat from H&M (similar here). It is the perfect way to make an outfit more autumnal/wintery.
Next up: knee high boots! I am well and truly in love with these boots. I have always wanted them, however, because I have long legs I have struggled to find the right length. Thankfully I found these perfect ones on ASOS and now I wear them all the time.
I love wearing them with jeans, but I think its extra cute to pair them with a skirt or dress. I have a feeling that I will be wearing them lots over the festive period!
This jacket has been in my wardrobe for 4 years now (similar here), and I bring it out every winter. I love the black and white contrast. I got it from TK Maxx and always find that they have the best faux fur jackets/coats in the Christmas sale!
And finally, this little white faux fur number was a lucky find from Very (similar here). This is a perfect little jacket for the festive period because you can dress it up or down. It would be perfect with an LBD for the evening time and is perfect during the day.
I created this daytime look with boohoo flared trousers which I’m obsessed with, a simple black top and my Louis Vuitton cross body bag.
I hope you all have a lovely Christmas, and if you are going shopping in the sales remember you can’t go wrong with a little faux fur!
This weeks a bit different as I won’t be talking about any new trends but I will be telling you guys about my exciting week interning at Mallzee.
For those of you who have never heard of Mallzee- its the most amazing app you can download that is basically tinder for fashion. There are over 150 brands on this app and you can swipe through lots of different brands of clothing, shoes and accessories to save you looking on individual websites. You can use filters such as product, size and brand filters to find exactly what you are looking for! In addition to that it notifies you when sales are on and there is a homepage filled with sections for new trends! If you haven’t got the app already definitely give it a go- you won’t be disappointed!
During my week at Mallzee I was working with the Marketing team and I had such an amazing time. I got to learn how the app works and how its marketed. I got to sit in on a marketing meeting and learned lots and I also got to see how each persons role at Mallzee works which was really interesting! As I want to work in fashion after I graduate, this was the perfect way to get a taste of the industry I hope to find myself in in a few years.
In addition, everyone working there were so friendly and made me feel so welcome! The glass of prosecco to end the week with the team was definitely one of the highlights.
The office was also very cool- one of my favourite rooms was the jungle room. It had bright vibrant colours and an amazing view over Edinburgh, Scotland- where the company is based.
A really exciting thing I got to do was look through all the products on the app and add them to the “staff picks” segment on the home page. I had so much fun looking through everything- if only I could afford them all! If you want to check them out they are on the home page of the app under “Rachael’s Picks”.
In the exclusive newsletter!
Again you guys need to get this app! It will you save so much time and it is the best way to find the outfit you are looking for.
Have a great week!
Lots of love,
If you are in Scotland like me, I hope you are enjoying this beautiful weather! Now it’s summer there are lots of trends to try out and one of my favourite ones is the off the shoulder trend. If you have been shopping recently you may have noticed that most high street stores are filled with off the shoulder tops and dresses! I think this trend is a great way of showing off a little more skin this summer (which is good for this hot weather!). I also cannot get over how cute it looks too- I just can’t get enough and I am having to refrain from buying too many versions of this trend!
As you may have seen from my London blog, I bought this really cute New Look top to wear.
Another great thing about off the shoulder tops is that you have the whole neck free to accessorise- so statement necklaces and chokers can work brilliantly with the outfit.
This weekend I headed out in my ASOS off the shoulder dress. I am not one to go that colourful, but I love this bright red colour. I added a red lip to really let it pop. This dress comes in a few other colours (the black one caught my eye too) so definitely check them out.
Here are some other versions of this trend you guys may be interested in:
I hope you all enjoyed the read and have a fab week!
Lots of love,
I am a self confessed Zara addict, and I love going into their stores and spending ages looking about at all their beautiful pieces. When I went on my holiday to Spain a few weeks ago, I couldn’t wait to get to the Zara store in Murcia’s shopping centre as its huge and has so much to offer. When I went to the store this dreamy blue leather jacket instantly caught my eye. It also comes in a gorgeous mustard yellow colour but unfortunately they didn’t have it in my size. I instantly thought the sky blue colour would go great in my spring/summer wardrobe so I just had to buy it.
I wore it out this weekend and paired it with a Topshop blue crop top (similar here) and black Topshop jeans. I wore my Geox pumps (similar here) as they are so comfy and great for a day out. I finished off the outfit with my Jaegar grey tote bag (similar here) and my new Quay Australia marble sunglasses. I am so obsessed with these sunnies! They are so cool and quirky and add some character to any outfit. I got them off ASOS as I was able to use my student discount. I couldn’t recommend Quay Australia enough- their sunglasses are amazing and come in lots of styles and colours. They are also very affordable!
That’s all for now. Have a great week!
Lots of love,
I have been crazy busy the last week or so with revision, so it was really nice to have a more relaxed Saturday off revision so I could get dressed up and forget about the library for a bit.
I bought this super cute checked shirt dress from Topshop this week. I love shirt dresses as they are so versatile- they can be dressed up or dressed down. I wore the dress casually throughout the day by just pairing it with some simple black pumps from New Look (similar here) and added my Ted Baker chain black bag (similar here).
For the evening time I dressed the outfit up by simply adding a skinny belt from New Look and adding these Forever 21 heels. I got them for just £14 in the Glasgow Shop so they were an absolute steal!
I have found some other shirt dresses I like and added the links below!
Have a great week!

I hope you are all having a fab weekend.
As I mentioned in my last post, I am obsessed with leather, so I recently bought a pair of leather detailed leggings that I have styled two different ways. These leggings are from ASOS and are only £18; so they are not too pricey- and remember that students get a 10% discount too! They are super comfy and can be worn dressed up or dressed down.
I firstly dressed up the leggings with a cute floral crop top from Topshop. This pattern is very spring/summer and is so pretty! I paired the outfit with some nude heels from New Look and matched them with a nude leather jacket. Leather on leather works really well, and makes for a very cool ensemble. I then finished the outfit off with my Louis Vuitton clutch bag. This bag actually came attached to my bigger Neverfull Louis Vuitton bag; which I will show you guys in a later post.
A blouse goes really well with these leggings too. This can create a much more casual look- just swap the heels for some flats, add a bigger bag and you’re ready to go!
I got this blouse from New Look and its one of my favourite new pieces! It is such a classy blouse and can be worn in so many ways. Its also really flowy and comfortable!
A couple of the items mentioned were bought a while ago so I will add some links to some lookalikes that are currently in shops!
By the way, Unidays is a website that gives you amazing discounts in places like ASOS, Topshop and New look. So my biggest tip of the week is to sign up with the link below, I promise you won’t regret it!
I hope you enjoyed reading and have a great week!

Hey guys! So for my first blog post I wanted to share a couple of my favourite outfits. I am obsessed with an all black outfit. There is something so chic and classy about it and I feel you can never go wrong with it. This was the outfit I wore on Friday when I spent the day with my sister, Emily. Here I am wearing a Topshop leather jacket I got years ago- I am completely obsessed with leather jackets and own quite a few. They are so versatile and last forever so I couldn’t recommend them enough as they are definitely an investment buy!
I’m wearing just a plain black crop top from ASOS paired with topshop leigh jeans. I accessorised with a pair of ASOS biker boots which I think really compliment a leather jacket and make for a chic outfit.
Topshop jeans and biker boots
I took my new Love Moschino quilted bag out with me. This is one of my favourite bags that I’ve purchased.I got it from ASOS where it was originally £145 but I waited until ASOS offered students 20% off before I bought it so I got it down to £116. ASOS offer a great amount of designer clothing and accessories so I highly recommend to those students who are looking for a designer item to look and see if ASOS sell it first and then either use the unidays 10% discount or wait until ASOS offer a higher discount to students.
Love Moschino bag and choker
Another item that I am currently obsessed with is my black velvet choker I bought from ASOS. All the supermodels and celebrities are wearing these right now and I’m wearing it with everything right now.
This outfit transitions really well into the evening time. I wore this outfit for dinner with my boyfriend, Finn. I simply swapped the crop top for a lace up bodysuit I got from Pretty Little Thing and then switched the boots for a pair of pointy black heels from New Look. I am currently going through a phase of buying bodysuits right now so I can’t wait to show you guys a few of my other ones in upcoming blogs!
Details and links for everything described are posted below.
I hope you enjoyed reading.
